Hello, I've just found this abandonware game from PB-games, and I think it's great. Do any other people play it? If so, I have some questions about how to play: First, how does the slingshot work? I don't seem to get it. Second, does the sonar function in level six pick up the Insane blaster? Thanks for any suggestions.

To swich between slingshot and spear press the W key.
No the sonar doesn't pick up the Insane blaster. You will have to try and get him in the centre as much as you can and shoot at him.

I haven't played that game in years. It was fun but the synthesizer speech got on my nerves after a while. But no, Blaster can't be targetted with the sonar. You just have to center him and shoot him as much as possible before he launches his bombs. If you can shoot him enough times he won't attack.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was stuck using the spear for everything! That was annoying, especially since I got like 40 amo without buying anything. I've never got to do the first bonus round iether, because I always have like seven lives at the end of level 2. I still havent beaten level 7, but I did manage to beat level six. By the way, for people who haven't played this game, you can find it on audiogames.net.

I never liked the fact that you couldn't access the first bonus game if you had more than x number of lives. I've never seen a mainstream game that did that so I never understood why Philip did that. Usually bonus rounds were unlocked by scoring x number of points or in some cases going to a specific point in a level and doing something different I.E. in Super Liam jumping down the first sewer in Suburban Streets Act 2 by hitting the right arrow three times instead of six.

yep but philip wanted to give the people insurance, at least some if they had less than 4. And anyway it is hard to get even one life on that bonus level.

I've actually managed to get two or three. It's not always easy, granted, but it's doable.

OK, I saw your thing about the first bonus round, so I played it ten times in a row in the "Play each level by itself" section. Here are my results: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing, Nothing, one life, Nothing, Nothing, one life, Nothing, nothing.

I didn't say it was easy after all. The trick is to grab as many coconuts as you can in each direction before the next batch starts falling.. So when you hear some on your right tap the Right arrow as many times as you can manage before you hear the next batch fall. It's not easy but it is doable with practice.

Once the game became abandonware I think I cracked it myself. The source is in your windows directory. I'd just have to remember what I did.
If someone really, really wants, I'll pull out the external later and find the patch.
I remember that game well, though. I used to play it all the time, back when it first came out. It was great. Still is. A little buggy, but you'd be amazed at what the developer did to make some of those things work.

Ok. The patch can be found by:
1. Going to www.pcsgames.net
2. clicking the link for the windows games list
3. Searching for a link that says "pb-games download site"
4. Finding the patch and stuff there.

For some computers, this will give you an error, so try going to audiogames.net and choose tarzan junior from the list. The links are there.
